高公局說，協調委員會是根據促進民間參與公共建設法的規定成立，決議具法律效力，高公局接受協調委員會建議。

不過，高公局也說，遠通電收仍處在違約狀態，明年6月30日，高公局會再依合約檢核，如果利用率已達規定，罰款問題就不存在。
