When I hear that someone found a treatment for AIDS, I was excited. but you can imagine my chagrin when I learnt that this healing comprised of compounds such as antineoplastins. these things are made from human blood and urine. I didn’t then, and still don’t think that that one was meant for me. but understand how that someone suffering from an incurable medical condition can opt for that.

You may have heard of the Rolfing structural integration, or not. it is a method of alternative cure that believes that the dysfunction of one part of your body could affect the rest of you. and using this knowledge, they attempt to cure you; they attempt and do well too. and the funny thing is that these parts of you may not even be connected in any way that you know or understand. Cranky.

There are various forms of treatment and methodology that you can find all over the world. Some we already are aware of, but others we don’t even know. if you ask me though, the more you are aware of the possibilities available to you, the better you can fare in this life. So pick up a pen and paper, read up on alternative cures, and store the notes away for a rainy day.

We live in a world that does not recognize many practices simply because they are not popular. Alternative medicine for instance falls into such a category, relegated into a silent corner because not too many people practice it. but the joke is on the majority because the minority who practice it are happy that they do because they find their healing there.

Sometimes we like to treatment medical attention in the same way that we do fast food and other stuff. but no, this is not like walking into MacDonald’s or something for a quick fix, when you need healing from a disease, you need the most genuine approach that will cure you, not just patch things up. and it that turns out to be an alternative to hospital medicine, so be it.

Americans would rather go for over-the-counter drugs before they try their hands at something more lasting like herbs or something. I understand how they may feel this way, but we are past the point where we should worry so much about whether something if popular or not. these days, when we want a cure, a cure is what we should go for, not a patch-up. and it the cure is alternative, it makes little difference anyhow.

There is a common misconception among many people these days that HIV home tests are unnecessary for them. While some people still believe that the disease only exists among prostitutes, homosexuals, and IV drug users, the HIV statistics prove that people of any age, race, sexual preference, or lifestyle can contract the disease. While sexual intercourse is by far the most common means of transmission, any contact with the blood or bodily fluids of an infected person can result in transmitting the illness. It is very important to understand that anyone who is sexually active or comes into contact with the bodily fluids of others is at risk of developing HIV.

Another common misconception among many is that HIV testing is only needed if you begin to show symptoms of being sick. While HIV does have numerous symptoms, it is important to know that many people do not show HIV symptoms at all for months or even years. While diseases such as herpes and gonorrhea have specific symptoms, HIV is an immune deficiency, which means that its main effect is that it makes people more susceptible to other illnesses. for this reason, people who are HIV positive often think that a cold or flu is often a symptom only of itself and miss being diagnosed altogether.

In most cases, the early development of HIV is entirely symptom free. People who do show HIV/ AIDS symptoms during this stage often mistake them for the flu, as a fever, muscle pain, and swollen lymph glands are the most common effects. Later symptoms of the disease can range from chronic diarrhea to sudden weight loss, sores on the mouth and skin, rashes, exhaustion, and sweating as well as chronic yeast infections. because all of these symptoms can also be found with other illnesses, it is important to undergo regular HIV testing to ensure that your status is negative. When diagnosed early, many people can live remarkably long and healthy lives with HIV.

HIV becomes detectable anywhere from a few weeks to a few months after transmission. as the disease begins to spread within the body, the immune system will begin to develop antibodies. the presence of these antibodies is what allows a diagnosis to be made by doctors. While they often develop within a few weeks, it is important to be tested for at least a year after contact with someone who is positive and to get tested regularly if you are sexually active or are exposed to bodily fluids.

The Apostle Peter proclaimed the message of Jesus to the first Gentile converts by explaining “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” [Acts 10:38] just how he did it is explained by the CCC as follows:

“517 Christ’s whole life is a mystery of redemption. Redemption comes to us above all through the blood of his cross,[179] but this mystery is at work throughout Christ’s entire life: -already in his Incarnation through which by becoming poor he enriches us with his poverty;[180] – in his hidden life which by his submission atones for our disobedience;[181] – in his word which purifies its hearers;[182]- in his healings and exorcisms by which “he took our infirmities and bore our diseases”;[183] – and in his Resurrection by which he justifies us.[184] ” [CCC; notes: 179 Cf. Eph 1:7; Col 1:13-14; 1 Pt 1:18-19. 180 Cf. 2 Cor 8:9. 181 Cf. Lk 2:51. 182 Cf. Jn 15:3. 183 Mt 8:17; cf. is 53:4. 184 Cf. Rom 4:25.]

While we do not want to miss anything that is part of the whole council of God, our emphasis here is with the healing ministry of Christ, namely “in his healings and exorcisms by which “he took our infirmities and bore our diseases” The footnote refers to two texts:

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” [Matt 8:17]

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” [Isa 53:4]

The CCC here implies that the Old Testament Scripture quoted in Matthew 8:17 is Isaiah 53:4. When the words “griefs” and “sorrows” are thus interpreted for us by the Holy Spirit through St Matthew as “infirmities” and “sicknesses”.

Let’s be clear on these words “infirmities” and “sicknesses” to be sure we are not talking about some sort of spiritual experience but actual physical health. we will do this by looking at a fuller context of the quoted verses. for the reference in Matthew we have:

“14 And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.

“15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

“16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

“17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” [Matt 8:5-17]

Now to be exact, only the verse directly before verse 17 goes with verse 17. Verses 14 and 15 clearly discuss Jesus healing a physical sickness, a fever, that had the woman bedridden. Verses 5 through 13 (given in the Faith section) discuss the case of the Centurions’s servant who was healed by Jesus of palsy with which he was bedridden. it is very clear looking in context that we are talking here of actual physical healing.

And now let us look at the Isaiah passage again in full context:

“1. who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

“2. for he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

“3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

“4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

“5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

“6 all we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

“7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

“8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

“9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

“10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

“11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

“12 therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” [Isa 53:1- 12]

Now this passage clearly describes the Passion of Jesus. This describes how Jesus suffered and died to bring us forgiveness of sins by paying the penalty of our sins while He himself was sinless.

But this passage also talks of physical healing. CCC # 517 shows us that by linking Matt 8:17 with Isa 53:4.

Wearing condoms is the most commonly used birth control method in the world. It also protects a person from getting sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms are made from latex or polyurethane. although males are usually the ones who use condoms, there are also condoms made for females.

Male Condom

Male condoms are made from thin, elastic latex rubber. It is worn over a man’s penis during intercourse. It is open at one end and closed at the other to block a man’s semen from entering the reproductive organ of his partner. The closed end is called a “teat” where a man’s semen is collected after ejaculation.

Female Condom

The female condom is made of thin polyurethane plastic. like the male condom, the female condom is closed at one end and open at the other. to use female condoms, it must be put inside the vagina, behind the pelvic bone. The open end of the female condom is placed just outside the vagina. Flexible rings at both ends keep the female condom in place.

Effectiveness

Male condoms have already proven to be effective. they are available in drug stores, local family clinics, and even convenience stores. they also come cheap, costing about two dollars each.

Female condoms, on the other hand, are a lot less commonly used. this is because the use of female condoms has not yet proved to be effective as male condoms. Also, there are currently very few female condom brands but more female condoms will debut in the market soon.

The first answer has got it all wrong.

It isn't the companies who can ban it. it is the government. without the government they can't do jack.

On another note, even if there was a natural cure to cancer, say a plant or something. not everyone would be able to grow it. Companies could grow the plant on mass scale and sell it to us. That is an example of capitalism benefiting everybody.

Of course not.

Each pharmaceutical company would claim a patent on it, resulting in 25 years of patent infringement litigation and necessitating a price for the drug that would put it out of reach of most of the people who need it. Then the companies would blame the government for the high price. Lawyers would get rich while sick people died.

In other words, business as usual.

You can't cure cancer! It's not a disease but group of diseases. what does pot have to do with anything. Breast cancer is not the same as melanoma. not all leukemia are equal. The cause is different and the effects as well.
