Your Smile Can Turn Brighter and Whiter
Each one of us wants to have a smile that is gorgeous and healthy. Although we might intellectually understand that a bleached white smile isn’t altogether natural, we appreciate how great it looks. The truth is that a really white smile just looks more beautiful than one that is tarnished, slightly yellow, and so on. We tend to judge each other according to the state of our dental health. Admit it; you do it too. this is merely one reason that you need to do your best to keep your smile as white as it can be. Here are a few tips.
Make sure that you brush your teeth at least two times daily and for at least two minutes each time. it is not enough to just swipe a toothbrush around one or two a day. buy a quality electric toothbrush like the Sonicare brush and use it for no less than half a minute on each quadrant of your mouth. this helps see to it that each surface of your teeth is cleaned. Also, it helps ensure that you get more than merely the top layer of gunk off of your teeth.
It really is possible to whiten your teeth way too much. these days most toothpastes have a whitener built into them. If you use these and several trays and bleaching agents, you can really overdo it. You might even notice that your teeth, especially near the edges, have a blue tint. this is a clear signal that it is time to quit the whitening for a while! You have to select a gentle whitener as well. Harsh whitening agents can wear away the enamel on your teeth and do more harm than good. your teeth might look whiter but you will be more prone to have cavities also.
On top of a whiter smile, you will be gauged on the odor of your breath. this means that you have to be sure that you are taking steps to keep your breath fresh as well as keeping your teeth white. your tongue provides a great place for bacteria to hide out and fester. this is likely to make your breath bad, particularly later on in the day. buy yourself a quality tongue scraper and then make sure you use it regularly. it is crucial to see to it that you’re using it right. Try not to overscrape; a few good swipes should be enough. You must follow it up with a good mouthwash so that your mouth will remain as clean as possible for the longest possible time.
Floss your teeth! Wait, let’s say it again: floss your teeth! sure, flossing is awkward and vexing and usually hurt. You still must floss. these days there are all kinds of flossing aids that can help you get the job done more rapidly and easily (like the flossing sticks you’ll find at the pharmacy) Flossing is crucial because even the best mouthwashes and electric brushes won’t be able to go into the places that floss can go. Floss at least once a day so that you can get everything out from between your teeth and under your gum lines. this helps your mouth stay healthy which means it stays white and dazzling.

Spinbrush Pro Recharge Battery Powered Toothbrush Features
• Easy to grip handle• Comfortable bristles• Rechargeable• Dual moving heads
We found Amazon.com to have the best price on the Spinbrush Pro,Check it out here!
While there are only 25 reviews on Amazon.com and not a great deal of information in other places on the Arm and Hammer Spinbrush Pro it’s easy to see that it’s users are either fairly passionate about the brush or wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!since I’ve personally owned and used one of these brushes I thought I would first throw in my own personal opinion: this brush works great! It’s definitely a step up from a regular brush and I always felt that I got a better sense of “clean” feeling after use. it lasted me almost a year before it finally gave up the ghost in IMHO is really a great value if you don’t want to invest a couple hundred dollars into a more expensive “feature-rich” toothbrush.of the negative reviews I read I was surprised to read that many people had a problem with charging this unit as I never experienced any of these issues. however faulty batteries are a fairly common problem in the electronics world, especially at this price so quality-control here could be an issue. One reviewer suggests that you skip the rechargeable brush and just buy the same brush that uses regular batteries and pick-up a set of rechargeable double AA’s – this might not be a bad idea!upon reading the positive reviews I was greeted with many that had the same experience as I. One reviewer mentions receiving the brush for Christmas 2007 and still using it coming on Christmas 2008 – this was much closer to my own personal experience.another reviewer mentions it going from July of 07 to July of 09 before it finally died! Pretty amazing but I would believe it.One thing I should mention however is that you will need to charge this toothbrush between almost every brushing. You might get away with a few days of not charging on a camping trip but for the most effective use you should plug this brush back in between every use. I wonder if this is what was causing some of the problems with the negative reviews…Overall for a cheap electric toothbrush I don’t think you can go wrong with the Spinbrush Pro! for under $15 it’s pretty much a no brainer!

Brush up on oral health; EXPRESS LIFESTYLE
YOU don’t need a set of perfect pearly whites to have a winning smile. at least that’s the view of the British public who loved Alan Carr’s gappy grin as much as Simon Cowell’s Hollywood beam in a poll of favourite celebrity smiles carried out by Oral-B.
The pair drew the same number of votes, sharing fourth place despite the difference in their smiles.
David Beckham and Prince William were voted joint top favourite male celebrity smile while Holly Willoughby was the top female. according to dentist Dr James Russell the days of the fake looking Hollywood veneers are numbered.
Instead a trend is emerging of people wanting to maximise their natural smiles.
He said: “It is important to note that Carr’s smile could be as healthy as Cowell’s. as long as he is brushing twice a day, preferably with an electric toothbrush and flossing, his teeth will be clean and in good health.”
Healthy teeth are what really count. taking proper care of them is one of the first lessons we learn and a good oral hygiene routine which includes regular brushing, flossing and visits to the dentist all help to ensure your teeth last a lifetime.
Dr Henry Clover, deputy chief dental officer at dental payment plan specialist Denplan, said: “People are living longer so teeth have to last longer. as we get older we are more prone to gum shrinkage, hence the old saying ‘being long in the tooth’ and the exposed areas of the teeth are then prone to decay.”
Medication can be another factor in maintaining healthy teeth later in life.
Dr Clover added: “Some medicines, including anti-depressants and drugs that treat hypertension, can cause dryness of the mouth by suppressing saliva production which has a role in protecting the teeth and preventing tooth decay.”
Most people would agree that when it comes to keeping their teeth in good condition, prevention is always better than cure and that is the philosophy behind Minimal Intervention (MI) dentistry which focuses on maintenance and prevention.
It is the subject of a new campaign spearheaded by Denplan and is in evidence at all modern dental practices.
Dr Avijit Banerjee, deputy director of education, clinical skills, at King’s College London Dental Institute at Guy’s Hospital, said: “The concept of MI dentistry has been around for many years but with advances in knowledge and research into the management of dental disease along with innovative new technologies and products there is a strong evidence base to show MI dentistry is the way forward.”
Today’s dental students are being trained in these techniques to provide simpler, more cost-effective and predictable dentistry and there are several new products available that fall under the MI banner.
These include Tooth Mousse which helps to replace some of the minerals lost from the teeth through regular acid attack after eating and drinking and Prevora, a slow-release antibacterial coating which is applied to the teeth and can help prevent decay.
Those who visit their dentist regularly will be aware of this shift in approach with the focus on proactive prevention rather than reactive cure. however there are many thousands of people who haven’t been to a dentist in years.
These are urged to make an appointment to have their dental health assessed.
Dr Clover added: “It’s never too late to look after your teeth and that is the best way of ensuring that they last you a lifetime.”

Electric toothbrush or normal toothbrush?
Normal but electric is so worth it! I've heard the Sonic Care Electric toothbrush is definitely the best, but I've got one that was only 10 dollars. It works better at removing plaque in harder places..
Normal toothbrush is cheaper
But electric toothbrush is better for getting rid of plaque and stuff
The Right Tools for Oral Hygiene
You all know the traditional toothbrush but there are some more tools to be used for a perfect oral hygiene.
Toothbrush: irreplaceable and indispensable, it should ideally be used three times daily after each meal. The purpose of brushing is to remove plaque deposited on the teeth. You can opt for a manual toothbrush or an electric toothbrush. There are three types of manual toothbrushes according to the severity of hairs: hard, medium or soft. To find one that suits you, take the time to test several models. in general, a model with soft bristles works for everyone. Choosing the right toothbrush is also includes the selection of the head of the toothbrush: articulated, simple or more complex with lengths and positions of different hair.
A good toothbrush is perfectly marrying your teeth and enters it without difficulty in the gaps for optimal hygiene.
We must change it at least every three months. Alternative to the manual toothbrush, the electric toothbrush makes brushing comprehensive. The rotary heads of these toothbrushes are often rounded and sophisticated, to achieve the teeth, the gingival crevices and interstices. Again, remember to regularly change the heads. for convenience, you can use an electric toothbrush at home and a manual toothbrush when you’re away or your workplace.
Floss: it is useful or even indispensable complement of the brush to your teeth. Daily use of dental floss silk or nylon is used to remove plaque that accumulates in the interstices between the teeth, areas difficult to reach with a brush to teeth and prevent inflammation of the gums. use it at least once a day. if you find that it is not easy to use, there is dental floss holder. Be careful not to make abrupt movements that could injure the gums. Smile dental care is one of the main benefits of dental floss.
Toothpick: it allows the removal of large debris accumulated in the interdental spaces is often inaccessible to the bristles of the brush. There are several kinds, but the only one that is efficient and pleasant soft wood. it must be moistened with saliva or water before use. Its triangular shape allows easier transition.
Sticks or interdentally brush: for people with bared teeth or implants that allow areas inaccessible to the brush, it is important to use sticks or brushes to remove interdentally plaque at the base of the teeth in these larger spaces, and stimulate the gums. they rinse off after use and can be used multiple times. You can take help of a smile dental clinic in choosing best sticks for you.
Dental water jet: The jet aircraft used to remove plaque, food debris and at the same time massaging the gums. it eliminates the pressure of the water of debris stuck in some inaccessible corner with a brush. however, it does not eliminate the bacteria in dental plaque; it does not replace the toothbrush and brush. The water jet is particularly useful to the holders of prostheses or braces.
Indicative of plaque: the developer of plaque, which occurs most often in liquid form, applied to the teeth. it stains the plaque, most often in red, which can make it visible. this allows you to see where the brush must be intensified. as long as there is color, there is a plaque and we must brush. At first, you can use every day. and once well acquired your brushing technique, you can keep the habit of using it occasionally to make sure to maintain good hygiene.
Brush dentures: those who wear braces must use a special brush for braces. this brush is different from conventional toothbrush: it is bigger and harder. it should be used for cleaning.
All this does not exempt you from an annual visit to the dental clinic. During this control, you can ask your dentist how to best use these accessories.
Crest Electric Toothbrush
A few days ago I went with my 5 year old boy to the dentist. He has not yet learned how to brush his teeth; therefore very often, he has a bad breath and his mouth always seems loaded with food particles. the dentist recommended us to use electric toothbrush crest. He said it is very good and cleans teeth quickly and effectively without enormous effort. This toothbrush is also easy to use and ensures an efficient cleaning of teeth without the need to use a paste to refresh your breath. my son was very excited about the suggestion, and we immediately went looking for a toothbrush for him.
After he examined some brushes, he chose a blue one, specially made for boys. indeed, the doctor was absolutely right, it is easier for children to use an electric toothbrush than a classic one. I can say that he is very happy and excited about the new toothbrush, even I can see that he loves more to brush his teeth now than he did before. I think, we need to take care of our children’s teeth, so we must be careful how they are brushing teeth, because, if we do not treat this problem seriously, they can have serious problems that can become more difficult to correct when they will be older. Hygiene is very important and we need to take care of it. If we have good hygiene, then we respect ourselves.
I think hygiene represents the business card of a man and crest electric toothbrush is excellent for perfect teeth, that is why I recommend it to all who are lazy, and they do not feel like brushing their teeth with a classical toothbrush, and that consider that it is quite a tedious and thus neglect the most important parts of the body: the mouth. I think that a beautiful smile must show white teeth. This crest electric toothbrush helps you to have a beautiful smile
