Quit Smoking Easily While You Sleep Is Proving To Be Very Successful smokers sleep nicotine bad habit

There are many reasons people choose to stop smoking. it may be due to health issues, a heavy cough, the ugliness of stained fingers, feeling like an outsider, or something else. One thing is sure, however, it is a very difficult habit to break. One option that is proving easier and highly effective is to quit smoking easily while you sleep.

Actually, nicotine remains in the body a very short time after stopping. this is usually between 72 and 96 hours. this is when withdrawal symptoms will be the worst. after this it is simply a matter of changing a bad habit, especially during times when use is most common, such as when driving or after eating. However, thousands of people have managed to become non-smokers using this technique.

One of the newer strategies, that requires little or no effort, is reprogramming the subconscious through self-hypnosis. this is because the periods an individual is asleep are the most productive during the day. since the habit is subconsciously embedded, addressing that part of the psyche is important.

For this to work an audio recording is played at night when falling asleep, as well as a couple of times a week during the day. the message transmitted erases thoughts about the need to smoke and replaces them with healthy new habits. since habits cannot be erased, only replaced, this is an important step. Speaking directly to the subconscious is what makes this technique so effective.

Hearing the recording repeatedly provides the needed reinforcement necessary to ensure that changes last. In order to change an embedded belief or habit the information needs to be heard many times. how often will depend on a person’s resistance to change. As a result, it can take many months while others find themselves successful after only one session.

Many programs believe so much in this method that they will even put the guarantee in writing. Checking this option is important when ordering from any Internet site. after all, if they believe in their product strongly enough to provide a money-back guarantee, it is more likely to work.

If you have always wanted to quit smoking, then your help is finally here. you will be satisfied to learn that you can quit smoking easily while you are sleeping.

Why Is Nicotine Replacement Therapy Important When Trying to Quit Smoking?

Why Is Nicotine Replacement Therapy Important When Trying to Quit Smoking? nicotine replacement therapy nicotine hard time different ways

Smokers, especially the ones who are heavily dependent on cigarettes, can’t just decide to quit their smoking habit in one day. going cold turkey, can become unbearable as it would only lead to what they call as quitter’s flu also known as nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Quitters may have a hard time dealing with these symptoms – which include headache, insomnia and tightness in the chest among others – and the tendency is that they would just resume their sick habit. To avoid this from happening, people who really want to give up smoking are advised to undergo nicotine replacement therapy.

What is Nicotine Replacement Therapy

Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) is basically all about appeasing the nicotine cravings of smokers as they refrain from having a smoke. It involves giving smokers their daily dose of nicotine they usually get from smoking through different ways other than cigarettes. the nicotine supplied in the body though is at controlled dosage and does not contain the harmful chemicals found in cigarettes. Doing this would gradually let smokers get used to a smoke-free living. Undergoing NRT makes it easier for smokers to quit as the therapy does not only relieve cravings but the withdrawal symptoms as well.

Types of Nicotine Replacement Therapy

NRT can be administered in different ways using different nicotine products such as gum, inhalers, lozenges, nasal spray and skin patch. Each has its own perks and pitfalls. the gum and lozenges are administered orally and are perfect for people who don’t mind chewing. the skin patch just needs to be put in the hairless part of the skin and could be worn during the day or for 24 hours. Since the patch can be worn underneath the clothing, it is suitable for smokers who don’t want to publicize their quitting. Inhalers work just like cigarettes and are ideal for people who miss taking a drag while the nasal spray will have to be inhaled through the nose.

It has been proven that NRT increases the success rate of smoking cessation but it is not without disadvantages. apart from being expensive, NRT products have been associated with certain side effects including headache, nausea and sleep problems just to name a few. While these downsides are really discouraging, they cannot overshadow the significant effect of NRT among people who try to get rid of their smoking habit. indeed, undergoing nicotine replacement therapy really helps quitters quit but in the end, it would be up to the smoker whether he wants to have the therapy or not as NRT is not at all required and is just optional.

Quit Smoking Patches

Quit Smoking Patches these patches smoker nicotine cravings bloodstream

Patches that help people to quit smoking are one of the most advertised stop smoking products. since they are so well-known they are also one of the most-tried products. When someone who needs to stop smoking reaches the point where they are not sure if they can do it without a help of some sort these patches are often times one of the first things that they turn to.

These patches work by allowing a slow stream of nicotine to enter into the bloodstream of the person who is trying to quit smoking. This nicotine helps to relieve any major cravings that will most likely develop after a person has stopped cold-turkey. the patches come in a range of strengths so that overtime the ex-smoker can slowly go down in the amount of nicotine allowed into their body.

As with most stop smoking remedies, there are varying degrees of success with the patches. Some people will find that the chemical nature of the patches suits them perfectly and they are able to stop smoking with few, if any, setbacks. On the other hand, there are also people whose bodies will not adjust to the patch or who do not receive the same comfort from the patch as they receive from cigarettes. These people may get discouraged and begin smoking again.

It is important to remember, though, that there are other remedies out there. for example, there is also nicotine gum. Some people find success with this because they are still able to use their mouths to take in the nicotine. There is also a rising trend in natural quit smoking methods. These remedies include, but are not limited to, herbal supplements and alternative therapies, such as acupuncture. There is also laser therapy which is a high-tech acupuncture-like treatment.

The most important thing is to find the remedy that works best for you. Also, be sure to develop a desire to quit before beginning any method. No matter which treatment you use, if you do not truly desire to quit, your chances of relapse will be much higher. Also, make sure to do your best to maintain your will-power during the process and acquire a support system beforehand. This could be a religious or community support group or just a few family members and friends who you can rely on to be there for you if you are dealing with the stress and even irritability that often comes when you quit smoking.

Why E-Cigarettes Can’t Help You Quit Smoking

1311867128 25 Why E Cigarettes Cant Help You Quit Smoking nicotine replacement therapy nicotine cravings

The latest buzz for people who are trying to quit smoking is the electronic cigarette, or e-cigarette. Seemingly overnight, this industry sprung up as a supposedly viable solution to quitting smoking, and with good reason: the electronic cigarette isn’t actually a cigarette, it just soothes your cravings for nicotine. so, is it really a good idea?

The electronic cigarette falls under the same category as nicotine patches and gums: Nicotine Replacement Therapy. In the same vein, it has the exact same problems as the other nicotine replacement methods: it’s merely a band-aid for your urge to quit.

As I was trying to quit smoking, I tried virtually every trick in the book. None of them worked, and for good reason: when I ran out, I went right back to smoking. I never sat around and said, ‘Wow, I could really go for one of those nicotine patches right now!’

Of course, the solution to this is to keep an ample supply of whatever replacement you’re using on hand. But what happens when you’re out at a bar or with friends? Everyone’s out smoking, you’re not going to be that person who turns on their e-cigarette and takes a few drags, being all high and mighty over the other smokers. it just doesn’t make sense.

There is really only one real way to quit smoking: willpower. many people say that cold turkey is the hardest way to quit smoking, and with good reason: they go about it all the wrong way. if you know what you’re doing and stomp out your want for cigarettes before you start, you’ll be able to quit and never look back!
